Botox Treatment

Botox, a botulinum toxin, is used for wrinkle reduction and softening of the lines over the forehead, glabellar (frown area), crows feet (outer areas around the eyes) areas lines, as well as for vertical neck folds called platysmal bands.

Additional uses of Botox include the following:

• treatment of asymmetrical eyebrows level
• eyebrows elevation
• excessive sweating

 

Your surgeon will mark the areas to be injected after asking you to make some movements. The area is cleaned and injections are done within few minutes.

The patient is reassured afterwards that he/she can have a normal lifestyle and ladies can freely apply their make-up. Mild bruising can take place, but it will fade away within 24 to 48 hours. 

Results will appear within an average of 4 to 5 days and they will play an important role in boosting the patient’s self esteem. They will last for an average of six months.
